A/C and Heating Maintenance
Just as your car needs regular maintenance to run at its best, so does your heating and cooling system. When you need your comfort system to work the hardest, during a summer heat wave or on the coldest day of the winter, you want to have the peace of mind that your system has been well taken care of. Most major repairs are caused by a lack of maintenance; and neglected equipment can increase your utility costs up to 25%. You can avoid most breakdowns and prolong the life of your equipment with a Planned Maintenance and Service Agreement from Wilson Bryant.
How our Agreement Protects Your Equipment
Our planned maintenance includes two maintenance calls each year; one before the heating season and one before cooling season. As a Wilson Bryant Maintenance and Service Agreement customer, you’ll enjoy the following benefits:
- Priority Service – Should your system stop working, we’ll move you to the top of the service call list. We respond to our Service Agreement customers first, and Emergency Service is always 24/7.
- Discounts on Repairs – As a Service Agreement holder you are entitled to a 20% discount on all repairs and a 10% discount in equipment replacement.
- Accessory Coverage – The following items may be covered for an additional charge: dehumidifiers, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, media filters and UV lights.
During our maintenance visit, we’ll inspect the following items and advise you of any recommended repairs:
- Start and run capacitors
- Heat exchanger
- Clean condenser coil
- Check thermostat
- Check/change filters
- Electrical connections
- Amperage draw
- Blower assembly
- Clean evaporator coil

Benefits of Proper Maintenance
Clean Condenser Coils – Dirty condenser coils raise refrigerant pressure which increases your electric bill. Clean coils keep your system running at maximum efficiency, saving you money.
Checking the Refrigerant Charge – A low or high refrigerant charge can increase operating costs; while an improper charge can cause compressor shut-down. Checking refrigerant levels can lower your energy bills and prevent future repairs.
Inspect and Clean Condensate Drain – Clogged drains can increase humidity level and cause water damage. Proper maintenance of condensate drain can also prevent repair calls.
