Madison is a city and a county seat of Morgan County, Georgia, US. Madison is located on a high ridge which transverses the Morgan County to the southwest direction. According to the US Census Bureau, the city covers 23 square kilometers and has a population of 4,005. The population density of Madison is 174.1 people per square kilometer.

The Historic District of Madison is one of the largest in the state. Most of the antebellum homes have been restored of which Bonar Hill is one of the earliest, built between 1840 and 1860. There is a beautiful state park in the west of Madison. The park is famous for its golf course and rustic jumping.
